Some common Art & Craft activities you can engage them in are clay modeling, drawing & painting, beadwork, embroideries, and basic sewing skills. All these things will boost up their mind, creativity, and color sense.

2. Books

Remember when you used to love reading books for hours and hours as a kid? Yes, do the same with your kids. No matter what age your kids are, reading books would always make their minds more healthy and productive. Give them a lot of books to read, and encourage them to strengthen their interest.

However, it is important to identify what your kid loves to read first. Whether it is fantasy, sci-fi, biographies, crime, thriller, or fiction? After that, take them to frequent bookshop visits and let them choose whatever they want. Just make sure they do the reading daily!

3. Basic House Chores

Always engage your children in basic household chores, and make them fun too. Let's start with the simple one; ask them to clean their room, organize their wardrobe, make up their bed, etc. Also, if they like cooking, buy them some cute chef outfits and take them to the kitchen.

However, make sure that the activities you give them are interesting and not too difficult. Keep in mind that you need to engage, do not make them tired or bored.

4. Creative Toys

Toys are for kids, so why don't we let them play with them? Gift your child loads of toys, and by toys, we don't mean cars, teddies, and dollhouses. Instead, get them creative toys that will stimulate their mind, allow them to create, and keep them indulged as well.

These toys can include lego's, play-dough, puzzles, etc. These toys will not only entertain your children but also allow them to use their minds as much as they can while keeping them distracted from boredom.

5. Outdoor Activities

This point is the most important one of them all. Sports and outdoor activities are a basic necessity while you are upbringing your child. They will not only be beneficial for their brain and mental health but their physical health as well.
